Economy package — from 4,500 RON (≈ €900)
Standard fir casket, pickup and transport within Bucharest, embalming, all civil-registry paperwork, one standard wreath, priest for the funeral service (parish-level), delivery of the deceased to the cemetery chapel. Suitable for families using an existing plot and a simple ceremony.
Standard package — 6,500 to 9,000 RON (≈ €1,300 – €1,800)
Oak casket with upholstery, pickup and transport across Bucharest or Ilfov, full embalming and cosmetics, complete paperwork, three wreaths, chapel booking, priest and cantors, coordination of the church service and cemetery ceremony, standard urn (if cremation), memorial-meal coordination. This is the most commonly chosen tier — fully covered by the state death benefit for pensioners.
Premium package — 12,000 to 18,000 RON (≈ €2,400 – €3,600)
Premium solid-oak casket, full embalming with dermal restoration if needed, discreet marked or unmarked transport, extended chapel booking with premium floral setup, six to eight wreaths from our in-house florist, priest at a central Bucharest parish, full memorial-meal organization at a restaurant, printed keepsakes for the family. Includes a new cemetery plot in a mid-range cemetery.
Cremation package — from 6,500 RON (≈ €1,300)
Cremation-compliant casket, transport to Vitan-Bârzești or Cenușa, embalming, all paperwork, crematorium fee, standard urn, ceremony coordination, urn handover. Full details on our cremation page.
International repatriation — from €3,500
Sealed zinc coffin, wooden outer coffin, mortuary passport, consular authorization, air or road transport to destination, arrival pickup by partner funeral house. Firm quote within 24 hours.
How the state death benefit works in practice
If the deceased was a Romanian pensioner or insured employee, the family is entitled to 9,192 RON (2026) from the state. Osiris files the claim directly with the Pension House on the family's behalf. The amount is deducted from your invoice at source — you pay only the difference (if any). If the package total is under 9,192 RON, the difference is refunded to the family in full.
